Tim Richmond

  Senior Pastor

  Pastor Tim’s Blog

The Richmond family have been serving at Grace from the first day we started services. They have thoroughly enjoyed watching the Lord plant Grace. Prior to their service at Grace, Tim served as a youth pastor at Bethel Baptist Fellowship in Brooklyn. Sarah and Tim have three daughters Hannah Sophia, Lydia Joy, Charlotte Hope and one son, Asher. Tim was ordained at Mount Calvary Baptist Church in Greenville, SC.

The Lord placed a burden on my heart for the Nations in NYC many years ago and has continually increased my desire to see His name glorified among the people of this city to this day. There is no other place on earth where more people have gathered from the nations of the world. It is our desire to see a Word based, Christ focused, disciple-making church in the middle of the nations of the world.

I would love to have you come and visit with us at Grace. Our church members are excited about the possibility of seeing God’s Word meet the needs in your life.

Our people are friendly, and the atmosphere of our services displays an appropriate reverence for God. Our services are intended to bring people face to face with God’s Word through traditional, gospel hymns and biblical preaching.

Andrew Snavely

  Assistant Pastor

Pastor Andrew started working at Grace the summer of 2014. Andrew is our youth and children’s pastor at Grace and has a heart for discipleship in NYC. Andrew grew up by Bear Mountain in upstate New York and has been actively involved in youth ministry throughout his college and grad school years. He was ordained at Faith Baptist Church in Taylors, SC, where he and Becky were married the summer of 2012. Becky is a licensed RN and enjoys helping in both the children’s and music ministries. Both Andrew and Becky are currently employed in addition to their responsibilities at Grace. They have one rambunctious son, Hudson, and another peanut on the way.

We have been eager to follow God’s call into active ministry in an urban church. We love the city and people of New York and praise God for His grace in our lives. We look forward to seeing God grow Grace Baptist into a Bible-driven, Gospel-preaching community for His glory.
