David cried out: “I was glad when they said to me, “Let us go to the house of the LORD.” I think we understand King David’s longing heart a little more during this period away from church gatherings. There were several times in his life that he was not able to meet in corporate worship with the congregation. Because we are in Queens, we are not ready to do that this Sunday.

But it won’t be too long – Keep a calm heart my brothers and sisters, we will be able to meet again. And when we do, we will be sure it is a safe meeting. Also, we will want to be careful not to put pressure on you if you are not yet ready to meet… that’s ok! But, eventually we will all want to meet at church again. We all want to meet, it’s in our heart to as Christians. Why is that? In this video, I want to lay out a few theological reasons for this, rather than just practical reasons. Of course, I could go on and on with reasons we meet, sharing hundreds. But I’m primarily picking things that we cannot really do well virtually through zoom or screen-based communication. Let’s, all ask the Lord to bring about the re-gathering of His people in churches.
