The Bible gives plenty of encouraging pictures of God’s relationship to His people. One that I’ve enjoyed meditating on recently comes from Isaiah 27. God is our Gardener. He cares for, tends, and protects us. Notice below–He never leaves His garden! Join me in our family garden as we learn a couple comforting principles from Isaiah 27.
“A vineyard of wine, sing of it! I, the Lord, am its keeper; I water it every moment. So that no one will damage it, I guard it night and day. I have no wrath. Should someone give Me briars and thorns in battle, Then I would step on them, I would burn them completely. Or let him rely on My protection, Let him make peace with Me, Let him make peace with Me” (Isaiah 27:2-5 NASB).
