An essential part of our church family life is the worship service. The Bible teaches that the church serves as the temple of God corporately (1 Cor. 3:16). In the “conversation” of our worship service, we speak to God in prayer and song, then hear from God in the reading and preaching of His Word. We highlight congregational singing, using music that is reverent and passionate, easy to remember and yet deep in meaning.
3 blocks from the 71st/Continental Ave.
Before the service: With a worship guide in hand, you can preview the songs and Scriptures, as well as glance at announcements and upcoming events. You’ll also get a chance to connect with those around you and receive a free gift (if a first time visitor).
Approaching God: During this time we want to make sure that our heart is right with the Lord. This is a time for believers to confess and forsake any sin in their life so that they can worship God with a pure heart.
Glorifying God: During this time we praise the Lord for Who He is and what He has done for us. We have a time of praise in song, in reading Passages of Scripture and in giving to the Lord from our financial resources.
Children’s classes with qualified, screened workers are available for every service.
Hearing and Responding to the Word of God: During this time we focus our attention entirely on God’s Word. The Lord speaks to us today through the Bible, and believers are built up through the ministry of the Word. After the Word is preached, believers are given an opportunity to respond to the Word. Personal counselors are available at this time as well.
A healthy church is a praying church. God works in coordination with our prayers as we seek His face.
Join us in person at the office every Wednesday at 7 pm or online via Zoom.
